BEYOND WHAT I SEE, MORE THAN WHAT I HEAR! – By Elder Felicia Rosser

When I think of the PULSE I think of a very important vital part of your body; realizing that without a pulse it is impossible for you to live. The Verb word for “pulse” is “to drive”. A Prophet is sent to drive.

They are sent to bring life or to speak life into a dead situation, or to speak a pulse back into your system so that you can live. A prophet, then, is the authorized representative of the Lord. While the world may not recognize him/her, the important requirement is that God speaks through them. A prophet is a teacher. He/she receives revelations from the Lord. These may be new truths or explanations of truths already received. Just as your pulse, it is not seen but rather it is felt or heard.

Prophet- who is a prophet?

Zechariah 1:6 gives us the following:

A prophet is a servant of God

A prophet speaks forth the words and commands

(“statutes" that he or she receives from God

Second

Peter 1.21 gives the following information:

A prophet is

a holy man of God

A prophet

speaks for God as he or she is moved (Greek: phero) by the Holy Spirit

A taken from the book of Isaiah, a prophet speaks forth God’s word

Preaching –

a preaching prophet encourages, comforts, or reproves the people. (NOTE – from this standpoint, a pastor who preaches, in full and accurate accord with God’s Bible, is functioning as a prophet).

Foretelling

– a foretelling prophet gives the people the word of God concerning the future.

So the job

of the prophet has become more than what you see simply because what you see is not only what you get but what you see is someone’s destiny and goals. It’s up to you as the prophet or the mouthpiece of God to say what you see in order to direct what you saw into the right place.

It is more than what I hear because in James 1:22 it says, “Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” So what I hear I have to act on and go out and do.

The Bible declares to us that the Lord said, “My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow.” So I’m excited to know that not only do I hear in the natural the things that are going on around me but I hear in the spirit the things that Dad have need of me to hear and not only to hear but to see and not only to see but to put into action!

Prophets you are the Vein in the body, the bloodline in which to tell the heart to live or die. Be careful what you speak and be careful where you go. Your life and presence set the atmosphere of the environment in which you stand. Take your place Prophets and call back life to a dying generation.

PROPHETS STAND YOUR PULSE!
