 Odessia Nicole Brown was born June 10th 1985 to the late Deacon Nathaniel Brown and Constance Brown.   She was born and raised in New York City.   She was baptized at the age of eight at The Mount Neboh Baptist Church where she is a member and serves in several capacities, such as Minister in Training, founder and chair of the First Steps (New Members) ministry, New Discipleship teacher, volunteers in the youth ministry and member of the music ministry.    

Odessia attended public schools in New York City. In January, 2009, she graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science from CUNY-Hunter College. In May, 2013, she graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work.  In the Fall 2013 semester, she will begin her M.Div. at Drew Theological School in Madison, NJ.

                Odessia enjoys traveling and volunteerism. She plans to continue her career working with Children, Youth and Families, which is her specialization. She has hopes to start her own private practice to provide therapy to families of faith and open a community health clinic in an area in dire need of quality medical and preventative care. Odessia believes that all things are possible with God and that anything that one is willing to work hard for they can achieve.
